David Leong, President

Sifu David F. Leong carries on the tradition of Chinese Hung Kuen Kung-Fu. Hung Kuen Kung Fu originates from southern China and is historically one of the few styles passed on from generation to generation relatively unchanged within the last few hundred years.

Mr. David Leong is a 3rd generation Chinese American with deep roots in the Chinese Community. He owns 2 restaurants in the Seattle area, one in the Chinatown CID and one in Belltown. He also operates a Kung Fu School in the Chinatown ID. He is also a former movie and TV actor , having worked domestically and internationally.

Mr. Leong brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in Local and International Business relations. The Leong family has roots of over 100 years in America, and has operated numerous successful businesses.

Dan Kwan, Vice President

Dan is an influential and dynamic sales and revenue executive with over 19 Years of organizational leadership experience with a Fortune 15 company.  Over the last year, Dan has partnered and consulted with entrepreneurs to drive scale and Go-To- Market to exceed their distribution and sales commitments.  Dan and his team were focused on helping accelerate the recovery of small and medium size businesses with innovative managed solutions for connectivity, communications and collaboration.  

Originally from the Northeast, Dan has found his passion in the development and mentorship of his teammates, direct reports and peers.  

As a first generation Chinese American, Dan approaches every interaction with a family first mentality.  Dan is a loving husband to wife Sara, and father of two children, Brooklyn and Ryder.  During his spare time, Dan coaches’ sports at his local Boys and Girls Club.  

Dan holds a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University in New York City, and an MBA with a Finance Concentration from Rutgers University.



Carol Harvey, Secretary/Treasurer

Carol Harvey moved to Belltown in Seattle in 2004, from there to Queen Anne, and finally purchased a home on Beacon Hill.   A  member of the Northwest Kung Fu and Fitness team, Carol has had the opportunity to participate in numerous events in and around Chinatown and has forged many friendships in the community.   

Originally from Wisconsin, Carol has served on a Neighborhood Association board for 4 years before moving to Seattle.   As Controller for a mid-size staffing firm, Carol served 10 years on the Staffing Association of Washington board as treasurer.  Currently Carol Harvey is a mentor in a Mentor Match program for Staffing Companies sponsored by the American Staffing Association. 

Carol Harvey is honored to hold the title of Secretary/Treasurer for the Seattle Chinese American Chamber of Commerce and will being much experience and passion to the board.
